Bai Na Quilts

A colourful ensemble of life

Bai Na quilts are cosy blankets carefully handmade from a collage of old, damaged or unwanted pieces of fabrics. When assembled, these little pieces transform into unique designs with a juxtaposition of different colours and patterns. Hence, no two quilts are exactly the same!

In olden times, Bai Na quilts are common in poor families where every scrape for fabric was not to be wasted. In the 21st century of abundance, these quilts, created from scrapes, become part of the global green message – reuse, reduce, recycle.

Within these assembled pieces also lies a vital principle: to accept everything that comes and turn it into a beautiful, colourful ensemble of life.

百纳被

一个多姿多彩的人生

百纳被是用旧的、破的、不要的布碎手工拼凑而成的温馨被子。拼凑后，这些拥有不同颜色和花纹的小碎片变换成一张独特的拼图。所以，每一张被都是独一无二的！

在旧日，百纳被在贫困的家庭是很常见的。那时，每一个资源都不能浪费。在富裕的二十一世纪，这些带有环保的意识－再回收物尽其用。

在这些小小的布碎中也包含了另一个重要的理念：接受一切人未必所能接受的，把它们拼成多姿多彩的人生！
